Many moons ago, SilkLink was all about web development and services. Solutions were fairly bespoke, each meeting the changing demands of our customers.
More recently, social media exploded. Businesses put more emphasis on their social media pages and platforms than for their website. And who can blame them! Social media has worked wonders, far more so than traditional websites, for small businesses. It allows businesses to interact with customers and could-be customers. It builds their brand and gives their businesses a face – a human face.
With all of the changes, SilkLink struggled to compete and its owners concentrated their efforts on other exciting business ventures and priorities.
It was decided to convert the SilkLink website into a blog so that web development and business services ideas, advice and discussion can continue.
